DEBBIE THE BLOODY

Debbie the Bloody hails from the Western Suburbs of Melbourne where she deals drugs for a living at her local railway station. Hence, the move into radio is a logical one.

Debbie has done a little bit of radio work before, co-hosting with Meghan B. on Night Owl and on 3RRR’s Room With A View. But this will be the first time Debbie has had a permanent timeslot on air (just what were those lovely people at Syn thinking?!) and she can’t wait to get into it.

As well as being on radio, Debbie enjoys going out frequently with her friends, watching movies, particularly those starring Jude Law and/or Johnny Depp, and going to the beach when Melbourne weather permits.

The Coffee is Better At: I would really like to sound cool and say these obscure little places but I’m gonna have to go with Milano in the RMIT Caf (chocolate calamari, anyone?) and Gloria Jean’s.

My Tastebuds Applaud: Mmmm…chocolate! But as far as places to eat go, I love Spice Box and basically any café…you can often find me at the Atomic Bar in Williamstown or Loco Express at Highpoint.

C-Grade Radio Personality Cameos At: Angler’s Tavern, Maribyrnong; occasionally Studio in Bourke Street; and on long weekends, you can often find me on a Sunday night at Heat @ Crown Casino.

Reads: Bridget Jones’ Diary 1 & 2; Cleo, Cosmo, my local papers!, Jessica by Bryce Courtney and I’m currently reading a fascinating book called God’s Callgirl…definitely worth the read!

Reads: Harry Potter – give it a whirl. You’ll be delightfully surprised. I loved The da Vinci Code. Sure it’s over hyped but worth the read. Challenge everything.

Meghan B. is a bleached-blonde spitfire who frequently causes controversy for both herself, and the people around her. Her radio credits include RRR's Room With a View and SYN's BAM! Radio, Night Owl, It's All Happening and SYN Summer. She moonlights as Talks Coordinator for the breakfast show, cheerleads for a basketball team and spends far too much time enjoying live music.
